Hey : ) Would you like to be Partners? www.the-christmas-season.com We are looking for people who will tell us more about their christmas tradition and just have some fun. It would be an honor if we could be partners. You have a wonderful website.

The problem is just that; people are trying way too hard to please everybody. Let's be real about things, the only reason the "holiday season" exists is because of Christmas. All the "holiday shopping"? Christmas shopping. If I say "Merry Christmas" to someone who doesn't celebrate it, that is an unbelievable expression of good will towards you, but you will simply strike back with how offended you are. I'm just trying to wish you health and prosperity, not start a religous debate with you.

Christmas is 'obsolete' according to Bill. That's news to me.

Billl is totally right. Would you like to receive wishes about a holiday you don't celebrate? What if you got htis wish: I wish you a happy "I love liberals" day. Doesn't sit well with you? That's the point. People and organizations that use the term happy hoidays with large groups are just being respectful of everyone.
